Bath Time

Although this picture was not taken tonight, I have not posted it anywhere yet so I wanted to share. My daughter is a HUGE princess fan! She truly considers herself a princess and acts accordingly! So here is a shot of my princess in the tub!

I'm Back!!

Hello again!
Hopefully I will now have time to get back to my blog. The day after my last post, my hubby landed himself in the hospital for 3 days because of the terrible infection in his foot. He is all better now but I was pretty busy nursing him back to health :)

Today my niece and nephew came over for a little while. Alex had a great time playing with my son's electric guitar...

and one more...the quality was bad, that is why it is smaller...

Pumpkin Muffins...

It is the last day of Christmas vacation...a very sad day for both my kids and me (I'm a teacher). Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, but going back after 2 weeks home with my kids is going to be hard. So, in order to make it a special, final, lazy morning together, we made pumpkin muffins...my kids' favorite. My daughter loves to stir (and lick) the batter...(Oh, and thanks for all the well wishes for my hubby...we head back to the doctor tomorrow. It still looks pretty nasty. Hopefully he'll feel better soon :) )

Fun in the snow

Well, my hubby is still laid up so it was just the kids and me today. We have gotten so much snow so we decided to go outside to play. We bundled up and headed out...and had a ball. My color is a bit off in these but they are great snapshots of our fun afternoon!

Happy New Year???

Is it a bad sign to spend the first morning of the new year in the ER? If it is, my dear hubby is in trouble! He has a horrible looking infection in his big toe. He was misdiagnosed earlier this week and is now in terrible pain...poor guy! So this is how I am making him spend his time...in bed with his foot propped up. I hope he feels better soon...

Hello and Happy New Year! I am starting the new year out with a brand new blog! I took some pictures of my Christmas trees tonight since they will be coming down this weekend. I put up 3 trees, 1 real and 2 fake. The real on is a complete fire hazard right now...very dry! I can never seem to keep them alive for longer than a week :) The second tree is my "Photo Tree". It has tiny silver frames all over it with pictures of my kids in them. The third is the only tree I allow to have colored lights (my kids' favorite). I took these pictures with a very small aperture and long shutter speed to get the starburst effect...no filters. I like how they came out, I am sad they are coming down this weekend :(
