Happy New Year???

Is it a bad sign to spend the first morning of the new year in the ER? If it is, my dear hubby is in trouble! He has a horrible looking infection in his big toe. He was misdiagnosed earlier this week and is now in terrible pain...poor guy! So this is how I am making him spend his time...in bed with his foot propped up. I hope he feels better soon...

Aww, your poor hubby! That stinks. I hope he feels better soon! And, I must say that I giggled just a little bit that you took a picture of his poor foot. (I do the same thing to my hubby though!) :) Welcome to POTD!

Ouch! Great picture, poor guy! This brings back memories of last year for me...I broke my big toe, ripped off the toenail and ended up with a nasty infection. Totally sucks! Hope he heals soon!

And I have to add that I ABSOLUTELY love the first pic of your Christmas tree with the doors - that is an amazing shot!

My name is Heidi and I love taking pictures. It all started when my godfather let me test out his new Nikon D70. I had been using a Sony digital camera and was missing most of the pictures I wanted to take of my kids because of the shutter lag. So I jumped into the world of DSLRs. I bought a D70 and a year later upgraded to aD80 which is what I use now (although I am secretly trying to find ways to afford the D300 or even the D700...what can I sell???).
